I only found out about the Morganford Stumble because I literally “stumbled” onto this article on stltoday.com about the history of Morganford. I can’t believe the pub crawl’s been around for 19 years and they don’t have a website yet!?! I tried to find more information about the event or maybe some stories from previous years and couldn’t find anything! In fact, my Flickr picture from the Tower Pub stop on this year’s Morganford Stumble is the 4th website result on Google (after stltoday.com and facebook.com). That search started the idea for this website, southcitystl.com.
Anyway, back to the event! The Morganford Stumble was SO MUCH FUN! Probably my favorite event this summer. Even though Zack and I were still hung over from the night before, we managed to drag ourselves out of bed and head down to Tin Can around 12:30pm. We planned on staying for a few drinks and watch the crowd head down Morganford to the next bar. Yea, right. We met up with a few friends and started stumbling! We actually made it to all these bars -

- Colorado Bob’s
- Luna Lounge
- Dawg House
- Tim’s Chrome Bar
- Shot Heaven
- Pepper’s Bar & Grill
I’d say 9 bars out of 12 is pretty good! Somewhere around bar six Zack put Tammy’s tank top on! Oh yes, it was that kind of day. We didn’t get home until around 10pm. We made plans to meet up for dinner and late night boozing but everyone was partied out!
