Welcome to the beginning of southcitystl.com! My name is Abby and that handsome guy in the photo with me is my boyfriend, Zack. We just bought a house (Feb ‘09) in South City St. Louis. I decided to start this blog after searching the internet for information about events in South City and not finding much, even though there is tons to do!
I love exploring our new neighborhood and all the cool places around town. I especially like trivia, karaoke, scavenger hunts, playing pool, poker, sushi, live music and dive bars. We have two dogs - Dee (Doberman) and Ellis (Boxer) so we’re always looking for dog-friendly spots as well.
Did you know that “St. Louis is second only to Washington, D.C. in the number of free activities available in an American city?” It’s bound to get chilly soon so let’s get started exploring South City!
