Taste of St. Louis 2009 View Comments

After lunch at 3 Monkeys (Lobster Rangoon.. mmm) and Boxer Fun Day, Zack and I took a ride down to the Taste of St. Louis.  Our main reason for heading over there was to see 40oz. to Freedom, a Sublime tribute band.  They were really freaking good, sounded just like Sublime, and were funny as hell.  We walked down some of aisles at Taste but we were a little late so most places were closing up.  The Bud Light Wheat tractor was there announcing its arrival in stores!  I tasted BL Wheat last week and it’s pretty good.  Light beer with some flavor to it.  They weren’t selling any at Taste though, and the beer was overpriced at $6, so we only had a couple and left.

Headed over to Trophy Room (Arsenal and Brannon) to see our favorite bartender Tammy and then home.  Overall it was a great South City St. Louis weekend!  We never traveled more than 5 miles and did a bunch of stuff!  What did you do?  Want to blog on southcitystl.com about an event that I didn’t attend?  Let me know.

As I said before, I forgot to bring my SD card home from work, so all you get are iPhone pics :( .  Here’s a link to the Flickr set.
