Did the ladies get your attention? I see them everywhere!
Compared to last week, there’s nothing much going on this weekend. We have a great Cardinals game coming up on Saturday and Oktoberfest in Soulard. We’re definitely going to make it to Oktoberfest and then probably watch the Cardinals game on the big screen somewhere. If you haven’t heard already, Sasha’s on Shaw has a killer special during all the Cardinals games. They’ve brought in a big screen and are knocking 10% off your bill for every run the Cardinals score. That means 10 runs = free! The catch is, you have to get there by the first inning. Thanks to STLMealDeals.com for the tip! It’s a great special but Zack and I are that high class… so we’ll be going somewhere else (do you have a suggestion?).
Here are some interesting things going on during Oktoberfest:
- Beer Stein Holding Contests - starting at 8:00pm for 15 minutes in each tent and Finals on Saturday the 10th at 3:15pm!
- Miss Soulard Oktoberfest Pageant - Saturday, 2:00pm-3:00pm in the HOFBRAU TENT
- TUMS’ Sausage Eating Contest – Saturday, 2:30pm – 3:00pm at Anheuser-Busch Platz
- The Soulard Oktoberfest Microbrew Competition and Taste! - Featuring OVER 30 varieties of German style beer! $10.00 ticket for ten 4oz tastes of beer! Located at the Soulard Market Pavillion
