I apologize for the lack of posting this weekend. I’ve been sick most of the weekend and the idea of writing about fun events that I wouldn’t be going to just didn’t appeal to me. How was your weekend? As always, if you went to a South City event and you’d like to contribute a guest blog post, let me know! I would love to hear from you.
Zack and I still managed to go out to a few South City places. Dinner at O’Connell’s on Friday night, Tin Can for lunch on Saturday, and Novak’s on Sunday for Bloody Mary’s. If you’re my friend on foursquare, you’d already know that. The burger and roast beef that Zack and I had at O’Connell’s were yummmmy. The server was a little rude and slow but I’ll 
give her the benefit of the doubt because it was fairly busy. It will definitely make our short list of favorite restaurants near our house. I need to make a mental note to take more pictures when I’m out. Personally, if someone writes about something they did and doesn’t post pictures, it’s worthless to me. For instance, the Bloody Mary’s at Novak’s are pretty damn good, they use Zing Zang (the best mix), and on Sunday they’re only $3.00. Wouldn’t you like to see a picture? Too bad, I didn’t take one. I’ll blame it on being sick.
By the way, does anyone know who’s having a costume contest (or just Halloween party) on Friday night, the 30th?
