El Monstero at The Pageant View Comments
Last Saturday (12/19), Zack and I went to see El Monstero, a Pink Floyd cover band, at the Pageant. We had general admission tickets so we planned on being there around 5pm to get into Halo Bar. They let patrons of Halo Bar into the venue before the rest of the crowd, so it’s a good deal to buy a couple drinks there beforehand. We got there around 5:30pm and unfortunately, the Halo Bar was full to capacity 
and there were already about 100 people in line! That meant we had to stand in line for an hour and a half in the freezing cold. It was horrible, but I’m glad we didn’t go on Friday when it snowed. By the time we got in at 7pm and defrosted, there were no seats left, so we leaned up against the bar in the back, center stage.
This is my second time going to the El Monstero concert and it’s amazing. If you’ve never gone, and like Pink Floyd music, definitely get yourself a ticket for 2010. They put on quite the production. Lights, costumes, acting, pyrotechnics, everything. I’ll let my pictures speak for themselves (but they really don’t do the show justice).
