Hi! I’m Abby. I purchased my first house in South City STL in February 2009. I live with my boyfriend, Zack, and our two dogs Dee (Doberman) and Ellis (Boxer). This blog was born (in September 2009) after searching the internet for information about events in South City and not finding much, even though there are a ton of things to do!
I love exploring our new neighborhood and all the cool places around town. I especially like trivia, karaoke, scavenger hunts, playing pool, poker, sushi, live music and dive bars. I also keep my eye out for dog-friendly spots.
My goal is to experience as much of the city (and sometimes outside the city) as I can and report back here! I’m originally from Ft. Lauderdale, FL and moved to St. Louis in 2005, so you’ll get a fresh perspective on what St. Louis has to offer. This blog will have stories, reviews, pictures, and videos. Eventually, it will be a one-stop resource for all South City events.
